This is place for you to record some interesting things you find out about ANZACs and ANZAC day.

Australia and New Zealand celebrate the ANZAC Day holiday on 25th April every year to remember the people of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who landed and fell at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War I. The service starts with the dawn service. The first dawn service on an ANZAC Day was in 1923. The ANZACS were on the Gallipoli Peninsula for only 8 months, and around 8,000 of them died. On the 25th of April 1916 was officially named ANZAC day. -Michaela

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them, Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, And in the morning.
We will remember them.
